  • MapSurfer.NET 1.16.1 released

    This release introduces the following improvements and bug fixes:

    • Added VectorTiles data source provider that supports protobuf, geojson and topojson formats.
    • SpatiaLite has been updated to version 4.2.
    • Fixed an issue regarding views in SpatiaLite provider.
    • OSM provider supports unique index files for different filters.

  • MapSurfer.NET is now on NuGet

    We are happy to announce that MapSurfer.NET is now available through a source package manager NuGet. It means, you can download and use MapSurfer.NET directly in your favourite IDE, either Visual Studio or Xamarin Studio.

    On NuGet, MapSurfer.NET consists of three packages. They are:

    MapSurfer.NET Core package contains runtime assemblies for the core elements of the framework. This includes map and layer objects, interfaces and classes for data source providers, tile caches, rendering backends, labelling algorithms and many more.

    MapSurfer.NET UI package contains runtime assemblies for developing elements of user interface such as map viewer control, expression editor, etc.

    MapSurfer.NET Samples package includes samples illustrating how to use the framework or how to embed it …

  • MapSurfer.NET 1.16.0 is out

    We have just released MapSurfer.NET 1.16. This version contains several long-awaited improvements on which we have been working for several months. Mainly, the introduced changes refer to several optimizations such as reusing allocated memory and utilizing object pooling concept. This allows to increase performance and significantly decrease the number of memory allocations. Additionally, this release fixes some important bugs and introduces a new data source provider for MySQL Spatial Extensions.
